Of course. DUCQ loves convenience but also cares about health, so all DUCQ non-stick pans are equipped with a strong, durable, ceramic, PFAS-free non-stick coating.
Yes, but we recommend washing the ceramic pans by hand.
Why? Dishwasher detergents are often very aggressive and can damage the ceramic coating. In addition, dishwasher detergents do not remove carbonization. For a longer lifespan and better baking results, it is therefore better to wash by hand.
Certainly! You can put all our pans directly into the oven, provided the temperature is not set higher than 250 °C. And be careful, as the handles get hot, so use oven mitts.
It is best to use butter or an oil with a high smoke point; preferably not olive oil. The use of olive oil or non-stick sprays is not recommended because it leaves a sticky layer in the pan with frequent use; so-called carbonization.
Certainly. At temperatures above 220 degrees, chipping can occur where the ceramic layer can crack. So be careful because when using high-quality hobs, 220 degrees can be reached within a few minutes; at full power, the temperature can even go towards 400 to 500 degrees. And the ceramic layer cannot withstand that. Frequent overheating can also cause irreversible deformation of the pan.
